I studied a BA in fine art at Edinburgh College of Art from 1989-1993 and then a Masters in Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art from 1996-1997 where my work was conceptual and installation based.

I teach the Beginner’s Course every Wednesday morning and a variety of full-day courses
on Fridays along with some weekend courses too.

My current work is based on gardens and portraits. I love pottering around in my garden and meeting new and interesting people to paint.

I have won awards in both my garden and portrait work and I am a professional member of the Society of Scottish Artists.
