Imagination And Inner Worlds

This module will look at exploring the subconscious,

memory and imagination as a way of making exciting and intriguing pieces of work. Throughout this module we will explore different ‘non traditional’ starting points for you artistic exploration in order to engage all the senses. From using sound, spoken word and movement, to exploring imaginary spaces, and creating your own worlds, this course is certain to challenge how you think about making work! Prepare to embrace all your senses and delve into 4 worlds full of possibilities!

This course is suitable for everyone from a keen amateur to a practicing Artist – tasks can be taken at your own pace and there are always options to build in more work if you want to.

Materials Needed

Several sheets of cartridge paper
A good selection of drawing materials - pencil, charcoal, pastel, ink, pen etc
Watercolour or water based paint
Masking tape
Brushes
Magazines, newspapers, imagery
Pva glue

There is approx 4 hours of video content and you should allow at least 4 days of working time to complete the course. You will have full access for 1 year should you wish to repeat or redo tasks.
