Inspired by the multi-faceted nature of the landscape around the Paintbox Studios, during this weekend course students will look at different methods of drawing – fast, slow, expressive, considered.

Time will also be spent exploring different tools for drawing – graphite, charcoal, pastel and ink.

By exploring different drawing responses the aim will be to find different routes into the local landscape.

​The course will culminate in large-scale sustained mixed media drawings that explore an individual response to landscape.
