Come and celebrate the kitchen and all its associated objects and ephemera as we draw, print and paint from an ever-changing mix of tabletop set-ups!

Using pots, pans, spoons and vessels we will explore the idea of kitchenalia as a ‘vocabulary of forms’ to make dynamic artworks. We will also be looking at different ways to engage with the tabletop space as a theatre of objects and ideas for more expressive works in a variety of media.

Each week will feature different set-ups to be explored in different mixed media processes and visual approaches, guided by a mix of contemporary and historical artists that take the kitchen and tabletop as subject matter. You will also have the chance to bring in some of your own  kitchen objects to work from.
